Content & Advertising Standards

Last updated: 14 September 2026

EdenStream exists so that Adventist creators of every kind — pastors, musicians, health teachers, documentarians, historians, artists, authors and more — can publish their work in a place that will not quietly work against them. That promise only holds if the library itself can be trusted. This page sets out what we carry, what we do not, and how we decide. It applies to everything published on the Service, and to every partner we work with.

1. What we are for

2. Honest labels

“Honest labels” is our central editorial commitment. It is not decoration on the home page; it is a rule that can be enforced.

3. What we do not carry

This list is deliberately short, so that it can be applied consistently rather than argued case by case:

4. Advertising

EdenStream does not monetise your attention. Advertising is limited to mission-aligned partners — the “Freely Give” model described in our Privacy Policy. In practice:

We would rather carry no advertising than the wrong advertising.

5. The Sabbath

EdenStream is Sabbath-aware. That is a publishing rule, not a slogan:

6. Enforcement

7. Status of this policy

EdenStream is at launch stage: there is no public studio, and no advertising is currently sold. This policy is published ahead of both, so that creators and partners can judge the platform before they commit to it. It will be reviewed before the studio opens, and any material change will be posted here with a new date.

8. Contact

Questions about these standards, or a report to make: use the Contact link on the site, email the help desk at [email protected], or write to the Operator, EdenStream Media, Karoi, Zimbabwe.

Our test is simple: would we be comfortable with this playing in our own home, in front of our own children? If a category is refused above, it is refused for everyone — no sponsor is large enough to make an exception worth it.
